Founder Bio

Jan has over 25 years experience in Marketing and Sales Management. In 1991 she opened her own business, JVA Business Services...Your Marketing Connection! Jan specializes in promotional products (advertising specialties), logo imprinted clothing, graphics design, desktop publishing, newsletter publication and business printing.

In 1996, JVA expanded its services and became a complete Business Service Center. At the Center, Jan offers numerous business services including, e- mail, computer/printer access, word processing, presentation transparencies, faxes, copies and shipping.

Jan is a dynamic leader who has volunteered countless hours of her time and talent to raise funds for, and further such community organization's goals and visibility, as Tri-Cities League of Volunteers. Ohlone College Foundation Executive Board, Ohlone College EOPS Program, Kidango, Women's Council of Realtors, the American Business Women's Association, and Alameda County Special Olympics. In 1996 Jan was honored as one of the Volunteers of the Year (Community Service) for the City of Fremont.

Jan and her husband Richard are active members of the Fremont and Newark Chambers of Commerce. Jan holds the office of President of The Board of Directors' for League of Volunteers (LOV), is a Board Member of The Ohlone College Foundation, and is a Board Member of the Fremont Chamber of Commerce.
